"The thing I loved most about these books was that I could relate to the life coaches. Many people have the misconception that life coaches have it made. The have NO problems, and they can handle anything that comes their way! I was able to relate to the majority of these chapters. When we can find ourselves in other people it helps give us inspiration to push forward in our journey. Life coaches are the same as you and I, and I have found that out through reading their experiences in this book. My struggles and desires align with theirs. I am able to see how they have pushed through and succeeded. I am INSPIRED!! Many thanks to all the authors!!"
"Radiant Living is a great book for everyone! This book is perfect for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to read. One because it is easy to read, and most importantly each chapter has its own lesson. If the reader is not into mediation or does not have time to follow the mediation guidelines, the reader can move on to the next chapter and not fill like they missed a key point in the book. My favorite part of the book is the Radiant Life chapter. The author talks about whether the reader views life as half empty or half full. The way we perceive life is up to the reader, and emphasizing how perception impacts your present state."
"Dao of Meditation was my favorite chapter in the book of Radiant Living. I loved his passion for meditation and how it changed him and people around him. I also enjoyed his cord cutting exercise. Very detailed and easy to understand."
"The story that spoke to me most was Forgiveness:The Next Generation by Karen Kipke. It resonated with me because I just had a baby, and I understand what it means to forgive myself for not doing everything right and being super mom!"
"Great read!! I really enjoyed this book. It’s packed full of easily digestible, yet powerful information and lessons on how to live an authentic radiant life. Reading about the personal journeys, struggles and perspectives of the different coaches really helped inspire me with confidence to take charge and live life to the fullest. The collaborative format gives way to such a colorful and refreshing platform of knowledge that’s hard to put down. This book is an excellent resource and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for inspiration and guidance along the journey of life."
"I chose this book because I think Radiant Living encompasses wellness as well as careers. The stories in this book were very inspirational. A person can easily relate to the scenarios many of these coaches have gone through on their journey, and the suggestions and skills they share I feel are extremely helpful. I particularly enjoyed the section by Erin Rose because I felt I could relate to her spirit. And the other section that sticks out in my mind is 'A Lotus’s Journey from the Muck' by Katie Slachciak. I could really see myself in this story when she talked about doing what she had to do to raise her children and taking leaps of faith with work and relocating. But no matter where you are in your life’s journey, we all need some inspiration from time to time. And this book can give you that inspiration. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to take action to better their life, because it really shows you that you aren’t alone and you CAN do it!"
"The book Radiant Living, published by Radiant Health Institute, LLC is a dynamic read that focuses the reader’s attention to the small details that make life more fulfilling and enjoyable. These authors, collectively, pull from their experiences and empower others to take practical time to invest in themselves as well as the cultivation of others. The book possesses a genuine, un-matched authenticity making the reader relate on any level to the common themes of life by empowering them to face their periods of growth, transition and pain with courage. The greatest take-away that I received from this book is to take the initiative to make the necessary changes that are necessary for everyone to see that you are making progress. You must strive to make changes that are obvious to all. We must live our lives in such a way that they tell the story of our change."
"This book provided me with an insight on other coaches, their story, and approach. It also gave me a some tips on how to revise my chapter. I never truly thought of writing a book until I venture into this assignment. Now, I believe it's a possibility."
"I gleamed a lot of joy and insight while reading Radiant Living, It has given me ways to keep my focus when I feel a bit unnerved about venturing out into this exciting, creative and expansive world. One thing I learned is you must give yourself permission to do a bunch of do-overs! Keep doing 'it' over until you achieve the results you desire then move on to the next lesson in life."
One common theme reverberated throughout each story, fear. Not only was fear implicated in each story, but it lurks in the shadows of conversation from every friend, family member, or person that share their infinitesimal to major struggles. This is why I want to become a holistic life coach. To not only help others dig up their fear, look it in the eyes, and rip it to shreds, but to help myself too. Erin Rose's story 'Leaping Is Believing' truly resonated with me. I recently left a project manager position in a corporate and toxic environment to teach spin, trusting that a full time position would present itself when the time was right. After praying and meditating on this matter, I realized that a position had not presented itself (even after copious research, coffees, and interviews), because my time in Nashville is up. Similar to Erin, who didn't want to move back up north to cold Vermont, I told myself I would never move back. to NYC. I have all these you 'shoulds' and ridiculous rules crafted in my mind. However, my biggest obstacle isn't the pricey real estate, competitive nature, hustle bustle, or how many times I have moved in my 26 years, it's my own fear. Once I completely give this matter to spirit and divorce my fear, we will work as a team to find the most divine job, apartment, roommate, and lifestyle. Just like Erin did."
